Mark Edward Fischbach, better known as Markiplier, is an American YouTuber, gamer-commentator, actor, filmmaker, and comedian. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, he began his career in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is currently based in Los Angeles, California. He has expanded his YouTube success into a media career, venturing into acting and filmmaking. His most notable project is the 2026 film adaptation of the equally titled video game Iron Lung, which he wrote, directed, produced, edited and starred in.
