Sandeep Reddy Vanga is an Indian film director and screenwriter majorly known for his work in Telugu and Hindi cinema. Sandeep made his directorial debut with the Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017), which he subsequently remade in Hindi as Kabir Singh (2019). Both films achieved significant commercial success while also generating controversy for their portrayal of relationships and masculinity, bringing Sandeep widespread attention within the industry. His subsequent film, Animal (2023), further intensified critical debates yet emerged as the highest grossing A rated Indian film of its time. Recurring themes in Sandeep's work include masculinity, aggression and complex expressions of love and sexuality.
